Paul Rose is the creator of Sing the Hours, the globally recognized new media and music ministry dedicated to singing the Liturgy of the Hours, also known as the Divine Office.
He is from a musical family of eight children. Growing up here in San Jose, CA, Paul studied music, particularly singing and songwriting. He sang in choirs and trained with a vocal coach for many years. At 14, he started teaching himself music production and recording arts. Paul also converted to Catholicism as a freshman in high school from evangelical Christianity.
Since creating his Sing the Hours in 2020, Paul has been singing and posting two offices per day (sung in both English and Latin) which can be found on all podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and audible music. He is passionate and purposeful, using his talents and music as a way to worship God “with all your strength:” in integration of the body, soul and spirit. Professionally, Paul has been a speech coach for more than a decade and is the co-founder of Rose Debate Institute. YOUTUBE | WEBSITE
Mary, friend and mother to all, through your Son, God has found a way to unite himself to every human being, called to be one people, sisters and brothers to each other. We ask for your help in calling on your Son, seeking forgiveness for the times when we have failed to love and respect one another. We ask for your help in obtaining from your Son the grace we need to overcome the evil of racism and to build a just society. We ask for your help in following your Son, so that prejudice and animosity will no longer infect our minds or hearts but will be replaced with a love that respects the dignity of each person. Mother of the Church, the Spirit of your Son Jesus warms our hearts: pray for us. Amen.
