Ten young members of St. Anthony Parish sang gloriously at our 4:00 pm Christmas Eve Mass. The parish thanks them all for their dedication to practice and for sharing their musical gifts.

This year's Parish Picnic was a two-fer. After being cancelled in 2020 and then postponed from June to September 2021, the parish came together at last for its long awaited picnic and was able to host Fr. Larry Hendel at a special meal in honor of his retirement. SEE PHOTOS
St. Anthony parishioners and visitors gathered at a single Mass on June 6, 2021 for the Feast of Corpus Christi. The celebration included a procession to four altars adorned with flowers from the Pastoral Council, Youth Ministry, Environment Committee, and S.A.S., the seniors' group. Everyone was inivited to attend an expo afterwards to experience the offerings of the event coordinator that is working with the church. It was a wonderful time to celebrate Fr. Tad's birthday as well!

Congratulations on the 50th anniversary of Fr. Bob Hayes' ordination! It was an honor and a pleasure for St. Anthony Parish, many priests, and other guests to gather and celebrate with Mass and a reception. Thank you to Fr. Bob for his service as former pastor of this parish and in his other roles over the years in our diocese.

St. Anthony parishioners were very happy to be celebrating Christmas Eve Mass at their historic little church on Bertram Road. Fr. Bob Hayes presided at this Mass, the first there in many months.
Congratulations to Father Tad Terembula on his installation as Pastor of St. Anthony Parish! Bishop Oscar Cantú came to celebrate Mass at the McKean Road church on November 22, 2020 with former pastors and other priests in attendance, including Father Bob Hayes and Father Larry Hendel. Beautiful November weather allowed for Mass to be held outside. As one would expect, social distancing and mask wearing were in effect for parishioners who were able to be present, and livestreaming was available for anyone who could not attend in person. St. Anthony Seniors (S.A.S.) are a fun loving group of people, so, after many months of sheltering in place, the group decided it was time to gather for a luncheon--even if it meant wearing masks and social distancing. It was so good to be together again!
Several members decided to get together with Fr. Tad later that day for dinner too!
Father Larry, we bid you farewell as you retire and wish you all the best: rest and relaxation, good health, fun times, enriching experiences, and a life filled with joy. Thank you for bringing us closer to Christ and each other. You will always be part of our St. Anthony Family.

Kudos to our Pasta Night committee and the tireless chefs who spent days planning for, and executing, this terrific (and very tasty) event!
Our annual Trunk or Treat event is always a big hit with our parish, as well as the families from surrounding neighborhoods. A fun time was had by all.
Remember when we gathered at the Rottjakob's house for some outstanding appetizers...then went to our assigned host houses for a wonderful dinner...and then left for the homes of our dessert hosts? ...And, while we were in transit, PG&E shut off the power to Almaden...and we ate dessert by candlelight...Remember that?
