The power of prayer is never felt more strongly than “when two or more gather in His name." We should not stop the learning of our faith in childhood but rather grow and develop our faith as we mature and become stewards of God’s plan. St. Anthony Church offers a variety of group faith-sharing experiences for adults.
Our small groups meet weekly to participate in study of scripture as it is found in the Old and New Testaments. A study guide is used to help members better comprehend the meaning and intentions of the ancient scriptures. Sessions are held on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. These groups meet yearlong with some weeks off during the summer.
For Tuesday, contact Faye Careway or the PARISH OFFICE.
A new study, What We Believe--The Beauty of The Catholic Faith, will begin September 6, 2022. Please see below for more details.
For Wednesday, contact Son Nguyen or the PARISH OFFICE.
A new study, Epic: The Early Church, will begin September 7, 2022. Please see below for more details.

What is the Catholic Church all about? What does it mean to be a Catholic? What do Catholics actually believe? Maybe you've been a Catholic your entire life. Maybe you're just beginning to explore the Catholic faith. Wherever you may be in your journey, you will be profoundly moved by the beauty and the richness of the Catholic Faith. The video presentation is a virtual pilgrimage filmed on location in Rome.
This group meets every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am beginning September 6 with the option to participate in person (every other week) or online.
The Wednesday Evening Bible Study group will soon begin its next study, Epic: The Early Church from Ascension Press. Join us as we discover the extraordinary story of the Church’s first five hundred years—a time of courageous saints, brilliant philosophers, eloquent theologians, ruthless emperors, and heroic martyrs. See how the Church Fathers boldly confronted early challenges to the Faith—challenges similar to the ones we face today. Their stories will strengthen and affirm your own walk of faith and encourage you to grow closer to Christ as you gain a deeper understanding of his Church.
Our small groups meet weekly for six weeks to pray, read scripture, and then share life experiences as they relate to the readings. By participating you will discover a wonderful way to meet other parishioners and share similar experiences in informal discussion and reflection. A suggested act of kindness or giving is always provided at the end of each session as a way of celebrating our faith and stewardship with others in our community. We currently offer two 6-week sessions: one in the fall and one during Lent.
Contact Patti Rottjakob or the PARISH OFFICE.
From time to time our church offers retreats or provides information about ones at other locations. Notices about retreats can also be found in our parish bulletin and weekly emails.
